Palm Red oil

Palm oil is an edible vegetable oil derived from the mesocarp of the fruit of the oil palm. It’s colour is reddish because of the high betacaroteene content. Palm oil is one of the few highly saturated vegetable fats. it is semi-solid at room temperature and has saturated and unsaturated fats. It is mostly used for cooking in tropical Affrica, south-east Asia and Brazil. Usedin production of margarine, cereals, crips, sweets, baked goods, soaps, washing powders and cosmetics. it can be used in animal feedstuffs and as a biofuel.
